Coach Anthony W. IvoryAnthony W. Ivory attended Morgan County High School where he competed all four years in football, basketball and track. After high school, he joined the U. S. Army for seven years and later he became a Rockdale County Sheriff Deputy for five years. While working as a Sheriff Deputy, he attended Troy University where he received his Bachelors in Criminal Justice and later received his Masters degree in Special Education from University of New England. As an educator, Mr. Ivory was a special needs teacher and football/basketball coach from 2004 - 2015 before he created NewRock Prep .
At NewRock Prep (NRP), student-athletes are given a second chance at pursuing their dream of playing college sports. NRP has a three level educational process, which helps student-athletes to raise their GPA, ACT/SAT scores, and dual-enrollment at a local college. The 2016-17 will be NRP Wolverines inaugural basketball season. From 2016 - present Coach Ivory has won 6 conference championships and 1 national championship in 2022.
